Another fantastic day for the European SchoolsGolf Tour on the outskirts of Bern, with torrential rain providing a stern test at a truly outstanding venue.

Our first visit to Blumisberg Golf & Country Club and it is safe to say that we cannot wait to return.

Players arrived to persistent heavy rain, but despite the challenging conditions, the course was presented in exceptional condition throughout. The fairways were immaculate, the greens rolled beautifully, and the overall setup reflected the outstanding standards of the club. The weather added an extra dimension to the day, demanding intelligent course management, precise shot-making, and plenty of resilience from the field, creating a true test of golfing ability.

What was particularly impressive was the standard of golf on display despite the conditions. Scoring across the field remained remarkably strong, with players embracing the challenge and producing some outstanding performances throughout the round. The determination, positivity, and competitive spirit shown by all involved created a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish.

Off the course, the experience continued at the highest level. The hospitality provided by the club was first-class, and the beautifully refurbished country house clubhouse offered the perfect setting to relax after play. Players, staff, and supporters were able to enjoy a warm and welcoming environment, rounding off an excellent day of competition in great spirits.
