Where can I find detailed information for a camp that I’m already registered for such as what to bring, schedules, directions etc.?

After you register for one of our camps, a confirmation and detailed information pack will be emailed to you. This information will contains answers to questions about camps, but you can contact our team at any time via email or phone.

Are there any special clothes or equipment that I need to purchase?

The players will need bring their own clubs to camp. Golf attire, including shoes, is also required. Given the ever-changeable British weather, your son or daughter will need enough clothing, including wet weather protection, for four days. They will also require clothing for swimming and strength and conditioning. Due to transport logistics, players must bring a carry bag and we cannot allow trolleys to be brought to camp.

How can I be assured that my child will be safe and supervised?

Our coaches have undergone a full interview process, and we have conducted all the relevant extensive background checks for child safeguarding. Each of team have experience working with young players. For more information, please see our safety guidelines.

What is the spectator policy?

Spectators are welcomed and encouraged at every SchoolsGolf event. We do however ask that spectators stay at least 50 yards away from the group you are following. Please refrain from walking on the tees, fairways and greens. As is common in all competitions, spectators are not allowed to give advice to competitors. Information on the Rules of Golf is not considered advice, but spectators are prohibited from making rulings during competitions. To help with the pace of play, we encourage all spectators to follow one shot ahead of the group they are following and spot for lost golf balls.

Is my child on the range all day? What other activities are planned?

The morning of our camp will be spent out on the practice facilities in all components of the game, whether putting, chipping, pitching, or the longer game. There is also the opportunity to go for a swim and take part in golf-specific strength and conditioning before playing on a Championship course.

How are the players supervised?

The campers are supervised by our staff both on and off the course. Our experienced coaches have been selected for their golf teaching quality, as well as their ability to relate to young people.

What ages and skill level are SchoolsGolf Camps geared toward?

SchoolsGolf Camps are offered to young players aged 8 through 16. In order to access the level of coaching and Championship coaching, there is a handicap limit of 26.
