The latest event in our 2027 season took us to a brand new venue, Cuddingham Golf Club, where players were treated to a brilliant day in beautiful spring sunshine.
A Stunning Day at a New Venue
With clear skies and warm conditions throughout, the course had a real summer feel despite the time of year. Cuddingham Golf Club was presented in fantastic condition, with lush fairways and some of the best greens we’ve seen at any of our events — an especially impressive achievement given the recent heavy rainfall.
The combination of a new venue, excellent course conditions, and sunshine created a superb atmosphere, with players making the most of the opportunity to compete in such enjoyable surroundings.
A Special Mention
A huge congratulations to Mabel Gosling Brown, who not only delivered an excellent performance on the day but also travelled all the way from Cornwall to take part. This sets a new record for the longest journey to one of our competitions — a testament to both her commitment and the growing reputation of the programme.
With participation continuing to expand, we suspect that record may not stand for long.
