The 2025/26 season has been our biggest and most successful yet, with record participation across both the UK and Switzerland. A total of 1,071 young golfers represented their schools across 20 SchoolsGolf events, making this our largest season to date.
This year also saw the introduction of several outstanding new venues. In England, we welcomed The Drift, Cuddington and Farleigh, while in Switzerland we expanded to Leuk and Golf Club de Berne, giving even more schools the opportunity to compete on exceptional courses.
One of the achievements we are most proud of has been the continued growth in participation from state schools. Creating opportunities for all young golfers, regardless of background, has always been at the heart of SchoolsGolf, and it is wonderful to see this vision becoming a reality.
As Jack Long from Abbey School, Faversham said:
“SchoolsGolf has become a regular highlight for our students. The opportunity to compete in well-organised events at top courses has been brilliant in supporting our player development.”
Feedback such as this motivates us to keep improving. Every season we review every aspect of our events to ensure we continue to deliver the very best experience for players, schools and families.
Looking ahead, we are delighted to announce another exciting expansion for 2026/27, with Epsom Golf Club and Pinner Hill Golf Club joining our calendar. We also remain committed to making SchoolsGolf even more inclusive and would particularly love to welcome more girls to our events next season.
